How do you have a conversation with a city? NY Tech Week at the newsstand

For NY Tech Week we opened the newsstand on a Tuesday afternoon and gave the same fifteen-minute talk every half hour to whoever fit inside. Our talk is the whole thesis in miniature: a city is a conversation, data is one way it talks to itself, and most of the time nobody is listening. We think of the Data Vandals Newsstand as a place for community conversations.
