Talking to the community through data: NOAHCON 25

The National Organization for Arts in Health brought more than 400 people to NYU for NOAHCON, and gave us an hour. We showed an overview of our work, then did what we always do: sketching, ideas, a wall of posters, and a room of arts-in-health practitioners from all over the country presenting charts they’d made ten minutes earlier.

This workshop was a real hit — the people in the room run programs in hospitals and community centers across the US. The question of how you talk to a community through data is their daily job, and we’ve been able to continue the conversation with several of them since.
